𝗡𝗼 𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗼𝗿 𝗴𝗼𝗮𝗹? 𝗞𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴.
𝘉𝘦𝘵𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘚𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘢𝘺 𝘴𝘪𝘵 𝘥𝘰𝘸𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘢𝘵 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝟸𝟶 𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘶𝘵𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘱 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶’𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘵 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘪𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦.
𝗪𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙜𝙤𝙖𝙡𝙨 𝙤𝙧 𝙙𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙢𝙨 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙥𝙪𝙩 𝙤𝙣 𝙝𝙤𝙡𝙙?
Write them down. 𝗢𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗼𝗿 𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝗻𝗼𝘄?
𝗦𝗲𝘁 𝗮 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲. 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗴𝗼𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝗿 𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗱? 𝗪𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻!
Now we’re going to work backwards.
•How long will the goal take to accomplish? •What are the steps and the progression that you need in order to get there?
•Again, write them down.
•I want you to put the steps and the dates that they need to be accomplished on your calendar.
•Then, you need to send your plan to a friend, family member, colleague, or coach.
𝗬𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁. 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗲. 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲! 𝗙𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗲 𝗜’𝗱 𝗯𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽!
I’ve done this very thing with a huge project I’m working on right now! When I sat down and looked at the goal it was paralyzing and overwhelming. But as I broke it down and set dates with the progression, I have stuck to my plan and I’m actually getting there!!! Funny how that works huh???
