Why is humility a quality that’s worth developing?

How does humility affect your health?

Thursday thoughts Journal Prompt : Take the time to reflect on these questions and answer honestly:

  • When I receive constructive criticism do I instantly resist it or find excuses as to why they’re wrong?
  • Do you find it hard to compliment or see the strengths in others especially if they are superior to my own?
  • Am I easily offended?
  • Am I quick to criticize or point out the faults in others but rarely see my own?
  • Am I always comparing myself to others? Looking for ways that I am superior?

Our Core Values at Summit Health & Fitness is stated at the top of our Sundays with Summit Health newsletter each and every week.

Humble – Healthy – Happy

Why Humble?

Humility is all about self-improvement.

Being humble means you can recognize you have room for growth or change and are open to it!

Humility takes confidence.  Confidence in knowing that with shortcomings comes growth.

BE A STUDENT ALWAYS:

Humble people know that being open to coaching doesn’t make you weak. Infect it makes you stronger physically and mentally. Show your coach you’re ready to learn and make them see that you are doing your best.

When we look at our ideal client we need people who are humble.

People who are open and teachable.  If they are not it is hard to see changes!

If you want a different outcome then we need to change what you have always done.  Am I wrong?
