It is cold and flu season. Or might it be…..

 

#1 – A lack of Vitamin D – not as much sun means less vitamin D – It is KEY in a healthy immune system

#2 – Circadian Rhythm Dysfunction from the change in time and routine.  Try to go to bed and wake up at the same time. Sit under a light box / sun lamp first thing in the morning and wind down with no blue light at night.

#3 -Too much sugar and alcohol which can cause inflammation from all the “celebrations”  – You body encounter a cold and its defenses are already down from the alcohol and sugar so it does not have the same energy and UMPH to fight that cold or virus.

#4-  Lack of Movement – your gym routine has been off cause you’ve been soooo busy. Even if you can not get to the gym go for a walk or take time for a flow or stretch session.
