What fires up your passion for action?

Who doesn’t love some good old fashioned Motivation!  It feels great! That spark! The burning desire to move forward even despite hardship.

But often Motivation can be short lived and lackluster.  I know I’m beating a dead horse here but that’s where habits come in.  Don’t forsake some good old fashioned well trained habits! They will do a body good! That being said we all probably desire a little more motivation. Am i right? It makes life a little more fun and at times a whole lot easier.

So this week’s journal prompt is designed to help you channel more of the good stuff!

  • What things come easy for you? Make a list and find what these things have in common.
  • What things do you have to force yourself to do? Make a list and find what those have in common.

Now compare and reflect on what may be the force behind these different feelings.

  • Last, What things do you know you should be doing but you just honestly have not brought yourself to do them?

From here set some intentions.

Learn a little about yourself, give yourself some grace but set some intentions.

I think back to the quote I learned very little. “Eat the Frog first!”

Do the hard thing first and you’ll feel more motivated to do the other things afterword.
