âI reached a small goal today. At the end of my first year of law school, I weighed close to 230 lbs. Stress eating is real. So, I started tracking my calories and joined a weightlifting gym. I eventually joined a crossfit gym – it really helped with law school stress. This September, I started working with a one-on-one nutrition coach. Today I finally reached my goal of 200 lbs. My new goal is 185 lbs or around 25% body fat. I got up to 230 after getting out of the Navy and got down to 190 and gained it all back between graduating college and the first year of law school. One of the most important things I learned is that one you gain fat cells, they never leave. When you lose fat it empties out of the cell, but it doesn’t go away. So, your body wants to refill that cell with fat. I struggle with gaining weight because once I am done dieting, I go back to eating like I did before. I’m learning that iI just can’t eat as much as I did in high school and my early 20’s. đ đąđźđť’đ đłđ˛đ˛đš đšđśđ¸đ˛ đ’đş đąđśđ˛đđśđťđ´ đťđźđ đđź đşđđ°đľ đŽđ đšđ˛đŽđżđťđśđťđ´ đľđźđ đđź đ˛đŽđ đŽđťđą đŻđ˛đśđťđ´ đşđźđżđ˛ đ°đźđťđđ°đśđźđđ đźđł đđľđŽđ đ’đş đ˛đŽđđśđťđ´.
