Yes! ⁣

#𝟭 – 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻. People who have more muscle require more calories each day to maintain that muscle. That in turn means their metabolism is higher! ⁣

#𝟮 – 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝗲𝘁. People who have restricted calories for long periods of time slowly seeing a decrease in the basal metabolic rate. Which is the amount of calories needed to maintain their body functions. I slowly increasing those calories over a long period of time that basal metabolic rate will increase. ⁣
