Top 5 things you need to do to make your weekends less “hot mess” and more “straight fire”!
1- Start your day with a savory protein forward breakfast!!! Aim for 25 to 35 g of protein as a minimum and moderate sugar.
This will set up your day for success by balancing blood sugar and saving extra carbohydrates for those cocktails or treats that you want to have later in the day.
2- If you have a meal planned out, look ahead at the menu and decide what you’re going to eat.
Why are you tracking your food or not looking ahead at the menu? Having a plan is never a bad idea! It means you’re giving thought and being intentional to what you’re feeding your body with.
3- Pre-plan out the amount of cocktails you will have.
Focus on plenty of hydration early in the day. Add in a LMNT, NUUN, liquid IV packet and make it a habit of one cocktail, one glass of water, no questions asked.
We get it, it’s the weekend. You don’t want have to think about food.
