Because of this, this statement really resonates with me but perhaps not so much with you.
Why am I sharing? Just to connect with you self starters who are just like me? Well, not that I don’t love that, but not really.
This week is all about creating a Healthy Food Culture at home so this statement I would love for you to adopt in regards to your food at home.
We don’t need to be perfect but how can we always be improving.
Never creating this black and white line with food like it is good or bad but perhaps it could be better …and how could that be?
Kids are pretty black and white so we have to be careful what we say. If they hear us say “no pizza” thats not a health option then they will always see pizza as a bad or unhealthy food.
But instead if we say….wow, I have no time to prep dinner. What should we do? Kiddos scream “We want pizza!” I can get on board with that. How about we order a big salad with chicken on the side so we get lots of veggies and protein in too! How does that sound?” Are you on board with eating some salad and chicken too?”
Seems like a little more balanced perspective right?
Just some food for thought. As always shared with love. 🙂
