How to Crush the Weekend!

Don’t allow the weekends to kill your progress!

 

Things to focus on for the weekend

  • Create a Plan for Nutrition -Even if it’s different then your weekdays. A plan will relieve stress about being “off track” and make the weekends feel more fun and laid back like they should be! 
  • Set Rules for Alcohol – Without a strategy things can escalate quickly – 1 drink 1 water and set a limit! Because you know…. three drinks in….. you just may find your face in a plate of chili cheese fries! 
  • Stick to a Sleep Schedule – Even if its slightly different from your mid week routine – Set an intention & set an alarm! 
  • Stop Depriving yourself during the week – This only drives you to overeat on the weekend!  This one is huge!!!! So many people restrict themselves so much during the week to stay on point but because the restriction was too much the weekend is a TRAIN WRECK! Ain’t nobody got time for that! Stop the madness!!! 
  • Get Moving – Lift, bike, run. Just MOVE! Get in some fitness!
  • Decide what is worth Indulging In – Make it part of the plan – no literally if you’re tracking your food put it in there!!! FIRST! Then build the rest of your day around it. 
  • STOP the ALL or NOTHING Mentality! – Perfect week days and train wreck weekends will get you nowhere except for in a dysfunctional relationship with food!
