5 tips to eat well even when life is chaotic

1- Find some pre-prepped meals that you can keep in your freezer. Easy things that are grab and go that not only have quality ingredients but a good macro nutrient profile. AKA- Plenty of protein, Moderate carbs, some healthy fat.

 

2- make friends with your cooler. Never leave your house unprepared. Pretend you’ll always be gone 8 to 10 hours. I have plenty of cold Lacroix‘s pre-cut up and portioned out snacks and meals if necessary. 

 

3- Be the MacGyver in your group of friends.  Always be prepared and ready to pull out all the stops with easy go to snacks.

4- Thermoses aren’t just for your grandma! Invest in some quality thermoses. You can heat up your meals at home throw them in there and keep them toasty warm all day or for your pre-prepped fruits or veggies salads it’s a great way to keep things cool. -slide 6 

 

5- Stop making excuses! The main thing to eating well when life is chaotic is excepting the fact that you always need to be prepared. Stop feeling like you’re busier than everyone else and you just don’t have the time. The fact is you make time for what’s important. Prepping on the front end will help you to not only feel better but reach your goals on the backend.  – slide7

 

and one last tip for when you’re in a pinch and you really just couldn’t prepare…

 

Know where to stop and what to grab if you truly just couldn’t be prepared. NEIKED nuggets at Chick-fil-A. Chipotle. Kwik Trip shredded chicken Greek yogurt hard-boiled eggs light string cheeses, pickles. Culvers chicken salad moderate the toppings and dressing.  Subway 6 inch sub with double meat. Jimmy John’s on which double meat and thinly chips. Gas stations. Jerky apples bananas protein water Greek yogurt.
